Peanut Brittle

  • 1 cup sugar

  • cup white corn syrup

  • cup water

  • 2 cups chopped nuts

  • 1 TSP butter

  • 1 TSP baking soda 

Cook in iron skillet as follows: Cook on high – sugar, syrup, water and nuts for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat and add butter and baking soda, stirring when adding; pour onto greased baking sheet and cool.
