sugar, butter, and eggs. Blend with mixer. Add milk. Sift
together 4 cups flour, cream of tartar, and soda. Gradually
add to sugar mixture. Turn onto a pastry sheet and mix in
remaining 3 cups of flour. Divide this into 2 parts and shape
into long rolls. Refrigerate overnight. Slice with a sharp
knife. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350°, or until lightly browned.
