Bread Pudding 

  • 2 cups bread crumbs

  • 4 cups milk

  • 2 eggs

  • cup sugar

  • TSP salt

  • TSP nutmeg

  • 1 TSP vanilla

  • cup raisins

 
Soak breadcrumbs in milk until soft. Beat eggs until light; add sugar, salt, nutmeg, vanilla and raisins. Mix thoroughly with bread mixture. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 1 hour in 350-degree oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold with any desired sauce.
