Smoked Hams

Cooking Smoked Hamssmoked hams

Frying or baking is the most common way to cook smoked hams. Our hams have not been cooked but smoked to perfection. You can store our hams at room temperature (75 degrees F) until you cut into them.

If you will be frying your smoked ham, create slices that are 3/8" thick. Cook over low heat and turn often. Do not overcook smoked ham meat. Since smoked hams are very lean, you may find you need to add some fat during the cooking process. Lard or vegetable oil can be used.

For a tasty smoked ham treat, try frying the ham in 7-UP carbonated drink. It's amazing what the beverage does to the taste of the ham. Ummmm...
