Crazy Horse Fixed Blade

This exciting new fixed blade knife from Native American silversmith and artist David Yellowhorse is named the “Crazy Horse”. The knife commemorates the famous Lakota chief who helped defeat General George Armstrong Custer at the battle of the Little Bighorn. The deep skinning blade was favored by Native Americans and the Crazy Horse knife has a 3.8 inch blade of 440C stainless steel. The blade is precision ground, heat treated, tempered and fitted with a stainless steel guard by Lone Wolf Knives. Then we send this assembly to David Yellowhorse who applies his artistry by adding various materials to create this beautiful knife. David stipples the blade then adds traditional turquoise, white turquoise, bloody jasper with sterling silver channel inlays to the handle. The center piece of the handle features an inlaid side view of the head of Crazy Horse with a war headdress done in sterling silver on both sides of the handle. David’s shop is located on the Navaho Indian Reservation where he is teaching his artistry to two of his sons.
