R. W. Loveless is known throughout the world as the master of fixed blade knife design. His Classic “Semi-Skinner” knife is sought after by collectors from all over the world. Now you can own this knife to collect or use on your next hunting trip. The blade, guard and handle tang are closed-die forged from a single piece of high carbon LV-04 stainless steel. Mr. Loveless insisted the knife be forged in this manner to achieve maximum durability. The blade is then flat ground to create an edge that is strong, easy to re-sharpen and ideal for hunting & utility chores. On the top edge of the blade where it meets the guard there is deep notching to form a positive gripping area for your thumb. The handle material is green canvas Micarta® for its beauty and durability with red accent spacers between the guard and handle. A lanyard hole is added to allow attachment options with leather thongs or parachute chord. The rivets are 300 series stainless steel for corrosion resistance and strength.

When you pick up one of these fine knives you will feel the balance and smooth contours of the handle as it seems to mold to fit your hand. Just like the master intended. A top grain cowhide sheath is supplied with a structural safety liner for added protection. We ship the knife in a padded zippered case with a protective sleeve on the blade. The sheath is stored separately in the box to keep it unmarked and in perfect condition.
