Click here to see more pictures. It was high time for Boker to present a new fixed blade Damascus knife. Dietmar Pohl thought of the pure collector, but also of the user of such a knife in the field. That is why we chose stainless Damascus with 180 layers. Our Swedish supplier called this particular knife pattern "Odin's Eye". According to the Nordic legend, nothing can be hidden before the eye of Odin. Solid nickel silver cross guard and pommel guarantee a very solid construction. The blade is fastened by a screw at the end cap. Handle is Ziracote wood from Belize - a firmly structured, water-repellent wood.

The Leo Damascus, a high performance Damascus steel, was made available to Boker through a noted European Damascus forger, Markus Balbach. The steel used in this knife is forged out of the barrel of the German battle tank Leopard I, thus Leo Damascus. This specialty steel is not available to the market and there is no material number even assigned to it because it was only used by the military. Herr Balbach was fortunate to acquire some for the exclusive use of Boker. A chromium-manganese and vanadium tool steel alloy was added to this extremely wear-resistant barrel steel.
