Using a sturdy construction, the apple peeler cuts thin slices, approximately one eighth of an inch and comes with an adjustable stainless steel (replaceable) blade.

If only peeling is desired, the apple peeler's slicing blade can easily be moved away. If you move the corer/slicer away, your apple peeler becomes perfect for peeling potatoes. Adjust the wing nut of the peeling blade and you control the thickness of the peel.
