Orange-Yogurt Crunch
- 1 cup orange juice
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chopped unsalted nuts
- 2/3 cup carob syrup
- 1 1/2 cups yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 3 tbs. grated orange rind
- 2 eggs whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond extract
Combine orange juice, orange rind carob syrup, salt and yogurt. Blend until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into yogurt mixture. Add heavy cream lemon juice, vanilla almond extract and nuts. Churn and freeze with White Mountain Ice Cream Freezers.
